Knotwork Sketches

Yah. Instead of working on what I was supposed to draw (Patchwork), this. I blame listening to hardly anything but the Lord of the Dance soundtrack for days ;)
I wanted to create a pattern that is mostly one line forming relativeley frequently repeted knots; I did not want to have something where the line first winds all to the bottom, and then back up (and maybe repeat that some times...).
First a, well, first idea, then a cleaned up version, then two ideas how to change it from straight-edged to symmetrical. I quite like the last one, even though that one doesn't meet my original goal XD
