Pink and Black Angel

Based on the prompt "Pink and black angel" by Ava Schwark

Marker, A6 (ca. 4x6)

Elroy

One of my old, neglected characters.

The "pose" of the wing is a bit flat, but the transparency turned out better than in any other attempt. You can't see it directly connected to him because the streetlamp he's standing under is too bright.

Pencil, A4 or thereabouts

Messenger

Nico had the vague impression that the impact crater was too small for the body that had caused it. She also had the distinct impression that the molten mass at the bottom, deep iridescent green like beetle wings, was not a meteorite, particularly when it started moving.

It flowed together and rose, like a slime mold attempting to take on a humanoid form.

A psychic message flooded Nico's mind, which put it in words as "Fear not!"

After a moment's pause, she answered, "If you're going to tell me I'm pregnant, there will be trouble."

That left the angel confused.

Meristide for Dreamweaver

Character belongs to Dreamweaver http://dreamweaverno1.deviantart.com/

I know I said "sketch". The (potential) colour scheme of this one grabbed me and wanted to run with it. Should have used colour pencil for the background, that I can do more evenly, but it also takes five times as long, roughly estimated.
Chibi, just because.

A6 size (ca. 4x6), ink by liners and brush pen, copic markers/Ciao for colouring, white ink for highlights. Yay for shiny black hair. :D

Dreaming the world better

The angels had been standing guard forever, or so I thought before I knew what a sculptor was. As far as I was concerned, they were not algae-encrusted pieces of hewn stone, but magical protectors, making sure the dead rested well, and the living did not get hurt in dreams. I do not know where that idea came from.

By the time vandals smashed one of the pair, I knew better.

And yet,  looking at the shards, I had another idea out of the blue. It woke up. It left the broken pieces, like an eggshell, and flew home.
